On September 4th, the 2025 Henan Provincial Electrical Industry Science and Technology Award Ceremony and Professional Title Application Training Conference were held in Xuchang. More than 90 people attended the meeting, including the association's honorary president, president and vice presidents, directors, members, representatives of award-winning project units, and representatives from other units. At the meeting, the Henan Provincial Electrical Industry Association officially announced the results of this year's science and technology awards. Jinguan Electric won one first prize, one second prize, and two third prizes for its multiple technological breakthroughs, fully demonstrating the company's innovative strength in the field of power equipment.
Among them, Kingcrown Electric's independently developed "Low Residual Voltage Large Capacity Metal Oxide Surge Arrester for 220kV AC Systems" won the first prize for its key technological breakthroughs in the field of power system overvoltage protection; the "Low Residual Voltage Large Capacity Metal Oxide Surge Arrester for 500kV AC Systems" won the second prize for its excellent performance and reliability; in addition, the "SF6/N2 Mixed Gas Insulated Metal-Enclosed Metal Oxide Surge Arrester for 110kV GIS" and "Clean Air Insulated Metal-Enclosed Metal Oxide Surge Arrester for 110kV GIS" jointly won the third prize for their innovative practices in green and environmentally friendly insulation technology.
After the awards ceremony, Shi Feng, the company's R&D manager, shared the "Low Residual Voltage Large Capacity Metal Oxide Surge Arrester for 220kV AC Systems" project, providing an in-depth introduction to the technical principles, innovative highlights, and practical application results of the award-winning project, which received high praise from the experts and representatives present.
